The city holiday home "Abalona 2" is a lovingly restored half-timbered house from the 17th century. Up to 4 holiday guests can experience pure romance holidays in the holiday home without having to forego comfort.

In 2011 the holiday home was extensively renovated. The guests feel the attention to detail with which the craftsmen tackled the task before they even enter the house. The holiday home at Marktstrasse 45 is part of a grown half-timbered ensemble. It is only a stone's throw from the historic Wernigerode market square.

The entrance area: warm colors dominate and are a pleasant contrast to the resinous, rustic decor of the hallway. The living room is tastefully and practically furnished. A large flat screen TV and various games are available for the entertainment of the guests

Vacationers can find pure relaxation on the large sofa in the living room. In addition, the couch can be pulled out, making it a comfortable place to sleep. The bedrooms are on the upper floor. These rooms also offer comfort and unobtrusively bring out the medieval charm of the house built in 1634.

Both bedrooms have large double beds and a cot as sleeping space. Small details create a pleasant atmosphere. Large bedroom cupboards offer guests enough storage space to easily stow things and luggage, even during longer stays.

The kitchen on the upper floor with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave and toaster can easily cope with small and large hunger pangs. With the dishwasher, washing up is done (almost) by itself. Everything is tip top in the bathroom with shower and toilet.

The guests of the holiday home feel particularly at home in the cozy courtyard behind the house. Two seating areas - one covered - invite you to relax in the fresh air as well as to a small barbecue party.
